Ecuadorian midfielder Juan Cazares was presented on Friday as a new reinforcement for Independiente de Avellaneda (Argentina), as confirmed by the club on its official account on the social network Twitter.
Cazares, 30 years old and born in Quinindé, Esmeraldas, was linked to Metalist Kharkov, from the Ukraine; however, the war between that nation and Russia made FIFA allow the players to go free and start negotiations with other clubs.
According to sports daily Ole, the tricolor signed a contract until next June 30; and, in the event that the inconveniences between the Russians and the Ukrainians continue, Cazares could extend his link with those of Avellaneda.
In recent days, the midfielder, upon his arrival in Buenos Aires, indicated that his aspiration is to be part of the Ecuadorian payroll that will play the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
“I adapt very quickly. I’m going to train well; I have a gym in Brazil and I was playing soccer with some friends. I have the illusion of having a good semester to be in the World Cup, ”said the midfielder.
“I come to earn a position in Independiente, and thus return to the Tricolor and go to Qatar,” insisted Cazares.
In the posts on the social networks of the Argentine club, the Ecuadorian appears with the 43 shirt; his reaction to that was: “How beautiful it is going to be”. (D)
