It was a meeting at the top: thanks to the victory, Copenhagen has 48 points and increased its lead over Midtjylland to six points (third Broendby has 40 points after 22 rounds).
Grabara broke the Danish Super League record
Now the best result in this respect at the highest level of the competition in Denmark is exactly 704 minutes. Such a historic result also allowed the players to triumph in the match 1-0 after a goal by Lukas Lerager. The Pole once again proved that he feels great at the club he joined last summer from Liverpool. After Sunday’s achievement, fans chanted the name of Grabary.
The Pole has been making a sensation in Denmark since last season, when he was loaned to Aarhus. And it was in the colors of this team with nine clean sheets that he became the best goalkeeper of the Super League. In the Warsaw club, they hoped that the goalkeeper would keep in great shape. Now, however, they may be surprised, because the 23-year-old definitely surpassed last year’s achievements. He has already kept a clean sheet 14 times a season.
This attitude is good news for Czesław Michniewicz, who has always believed in his skills and counts on him in the context of the upcoming League of Nations and the World Cup in Qatar.
The goalkeeper was the captain of the U-21 national team when Michniewicz was their coach. A few days ago, Grabara was also called up for the first training camp in the adult team of the former coach of Legia Warszawa.
