The case of the brutal beating of a woman during a jealous quarrel in an apartment in the “new Moscow” in 2000 went to court. A 52-year-old man is in the dock, Yulia Ivanova, senior assistant to the head of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for Moscow, said.
According to her, he was charged with three articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation – Part 1 of Art. 139 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal entry into a dwelling”), part 4 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Causing grievous bodily harm, negligently resulting in the death of the victim”) and Part 3 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal storage and use of a forged document”).
The murder took place in August 2000 in an apartment in the village of Ostafyevo. The man entered the apartment where his cohabitant was staying, and during the quarrel, he kicked her at least 30 times in the head. The woman died in the hospital from her injuries.
The perpetrator managed to hide for a long time. Investigators found that from 2000 to the present, the accused repeatedly changed personal data and used fake passports.
