Pello Bilbao wins the second stage of the Tour of the Alps and dons the leader’s jersey

Pello Bilbao (Bahrain Victorious) won the second stage of the Tour of the Alps which was played this Tuesday, April 19 between Primiero/S. Martino di Castrozza and Lana (154.1 kilometers). In addition, the Basque cyclist is the new leader of the race.

Pello shot on the way downtook the lead and little by little he smoothed out differences between Sivakov and Storer until he annulled his intentions of victory 10 kilometers from the end of the stage.

On a flat finish and a slight uphill last kilometer the Bahrain Victorious moved their troops wisely.
