The family of the Georgian football player Rubin Khvicha Kvaratskhelia receives threats because of his performances for the Russian club. This became known to “Match TV”.
The source said that the 21-year-old midfielder will not return to Russia after playing for the Georgian national team. The press service of the Kazan team does not comment on the situation.
Kvaratskhelia’s contract with Rubin runs until 2024. He has made 22 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing five assists.
On March 7, the International Football Federation allowed the legionnaires of the Russian Premier League to suspend contracts unilaterally.
