Górnik saved himself at the last moment. The goal of a new player

It was a clash of teams at different poles. Although they are ranked sixth in the league, they no longer have a chance to catch up with the top three in the league, they are still trying to stay in the upper part of the table. An opportunity to strengthen his position was the start with, which will fight to keep in the league until the very end.

The start of the match belonged to the hosts. He was eager to play from the beginning, who in the seventh minute tried to surprise Pavliuczenko with a long shot. The guests for the first quarter of an hour were pushed to the defensive and when it seemed that the goal for Górnik was a matter of time, there was a surprise.

In the 15th minute, Poliarus shot from a free kick, and Górnik’s defenders behaved quite awkwardly. Serb Nemanja Tekijaški hit the ball and although Daniel Bielica hit it, it fell right at Muris Mešanović’s feet. The Bosnian did what he had to do and gave the guests the lead in this meeting.

After 30 minutes it could have been 0: 2, but Kacper Śpiewak, who hit the post, did not take advantage of the favorable situation. Górnik did his best to turn the tide of this match. Podolski again tried to surprise Pavliuczenko with a shot from a distance. The ball ricocheted could confuse the visitors’ goalkeeper, fortunately the Belarusian hit it with his feet at the last minute.

Pacheco the hero of the match

The second half started better with “Elephants”, which created a few dangerous situations, but none of them scored. In the 75th minute, rookie Dani Pacheco entered the field. From 82 minutes, the hosts played the jackpot. Erik Janża saw the second yellow card for a foul and the hosts played in the bull’s-eye.

The goal was scored by the Spanish rookie, who surprised Pavliuczenko with a flat shot two minutes before the end of regular time. And although the ending was very exciting (in extra time the judge dictated a penalty by the hand, but after consulting with VAR he changed his decision), no more goals were scored.

In other Sunday matches, he won the 26th round with Cracovia 1-0. Waldemar Fornalik’s players kept a clean sheet for the fourth time in a row, and Damian Kdzior scored a goal worth three points in the 39th minute. In turn, they tied with 1: 1 at home. The goals were scored by Oskar Zawada (48 minutes) and Karol Angielski (76 minutes).
