Figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva says she feels she can keep skating
Russian figure skater Elizaveta Tuktamysheva answered a question about her retirement. She spoke about this in her Telegram channel.
“I will continue to ride until the moment I realize that I can no longer. Now I still feel that I can, ”said the athlete. The figure skater also shared that in the future she wants to try herself as a choreographer and director of programs.
Earlier, on February 23, Tuktamysheva assessed the holding of the 2022 Olympic Games in Beijing. The athlete said that she was not upset about not being included in the Russian national team, since the competition in single figure skating is high. “There was no frustration. It is logical that girls with quadruple jumps, with good programs, went to the Games, and they performed very well, ”Tuktamysheva noted. She stressed that she had no negative emotions when watching the competition.
Tuktamysheva is the world and European champion. She also has the bronze of the continental championship and the silver of the world championship.
