With good performance by the entire team, the Bayern Munchen managed a 4-0 rout of Union Berlin this Saturday and remained firmly in the lead of the German Championship, with 7 points ahead of the vice-leader, Borussia Dortmund, which tomorrow faces Cologne.
The Bavarian team opened the scoring with Frenchman Kingsley Coman in the 16th minute of the first half. Nine minutes later, his compatriot Tanguy Nianzou scored his first goal with a Bayern shirt and raised it for the hosts.
Top scorer Lewandowski closed the scoring by scoring two more: one from a penalty before the break and another just two minutes into the second half.

“We played very well and created a lot of opportunities,” said Coman at the end of the match. “We wanted to win and increase the distance” to Dortmund, added the Frenchman.
“We allowed two or three unnecessary chances for the opponent in the first half, but our victory was deserved”, analyzed German defensive midfielder Joshua Kimmich.
