Stefan Kraft trembled for victory. The judges spoiled the spectacle in Oberstdorf

he was definitely in the lead after the first round. The bronze medalist of the globe championship in flights from Vikersund soared to 232 m, from the 15th starting beam. The second, with a loss of 11.3 points, was the Slovene Timi Zajc (222.5 m; the 15th beam), and the third was his compatriot Żiga Jelar (232 m; the 17th beam).

The fourth place was occupied by the champion from the week before (217 m; 15th beam), the fifth next Slovene Anze Lanisek (217 m; 15th beam), and Kamil Stoch (223 m; 17th beam) finished the top six. Right behind the jumper from Ząb, Piotr Żyła (223.5 m; 17th beam) was placed.
