We waited a long time for such a flight. The Pole has been struggling on the ski jumps in recent weeks. The flights, in particular, were extremely difficult for him. In the trial series before Saturday’s competition, he finally broke down and flew the farthest – 232 meters. He was only overtaken by Anze Lanisek, 226 meters from the lower beam, and Timi Zajc, who flew 220 meters from the even lower inrun.

As calculated by Adam Buchlz from the portal skijumping.pl, the three-time Olympic champion has just crossed an incredible border. The jump in the trial series was his 200th jump in his career, in which he exceeded 200 meters. He is only the second jumper in the history of this discipline who has succeeded in this art. Robert Kranjec comes first in this ranking. The Slovene made 211 such attempts.

How did the other Poles fare? He made a very good jump again. The Wiślanin scored 218 meters, which gave him the 11th position. Aleksander Zniszczo³, who replaces Paweł Wąska in Oberstdorf, shows that it was worth the bet. 198 meters gave him 19th place in the test round.

Dawid Kubacki achieved 190 meters and was 27th. Jakub Wolny was placed right behind him, who landed 5 meters further from his teammate in better conditions. The lowest of our players was Andrzej Stękała, who was second to last with a distance of 166 meters. Behind him only ….
