The Peruvian authorities will raffle tickets for the match on the last day of the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers that Peru will play with Paraguay on March 29, as a way to promote vaccination against COVID-19.
The Ministry of Health (Minsa) pointed out that all people over 12 years of age who come to be immunized carrying their vaccination card and the Peruvian team shirt can participate in the draw for 25 tickets until March 21.
The entries for the “Encouraging is protecting, complete your doses” contest will be raffled thanks to the support of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) and the participants must publish a photograph or video on their social networks wearing the Peruvian national team shirt and showing your card with the date of vaccination.
The photo or video must be accompanied by the tag #EncourageIsProtect and include links to the Minsa and FPF networks, as well as a message “that encourages others to get vaccinated.”
The results of the draw, which will include all the publications that meet the requirements and have the most reactions on social networks, will be announced on March 24 on the Minsa and FPF social networks.
The ministry recalled that, so far, more than 25.4 million people have received two doses of the covid-19 vaccines in the country, while 11.6 million have received the third dose.
Peru will receive Paraguay at the National Stadium in Lima in a match on the last day of the qualifiers that will be decisive in its aspirations to qualify for Qatar 2022, since it currently occupies fifth position, with 21 units, which gives it the possibility to play the World Cup playoffs. (D)
