The artists wondered for a long time if it was a good time for a new single and originally started releasing a completely different song. “But maybe now is the time to sing this text, this problem,” they said. The song was written many months ago, but even in the current situation, unfortunately, it is still relevant.

In the song “We want more”, Marcin Makowiec and Michał Lange focus on “the increasingly visible lack of deep values ​​in people who reduce life to the simplest, most superficial, forgetting to enjoy its simple and most valuable part – gratefully experiencing “.

– In the face of the specter of the end of the world as we know it or even the end of individual life of each of us – instead of taking care of our own nose, instead of the constant struggle for an idealized appearance or having property or fame – internal well-being should be more important, the key to which is hidden elsewhere – the authors emphasize.

– I would have been doing our album for two more years, if Marcin hadn’t made me stand upright – anyway, at the end, I knocked over the vocals in a few tracks anyway. I search all the time, to the point of exaggeration, and Marcin can sense when it is good enough. In addition, Marcin’s guitar and rhythm with his British style and my playing together give something really interesting. Sometimes you can hear that the producer is a keyboard player, bassist or guitarist, and we have it all together. Piano and a bit of electronics meet rock. Only my wife opened my eyes to it – and I think we were striving for something like that – said Michał Lange in last year’s interview with Gazeta.pl. The premiere of the announced album “Kontrasty” is scheduled for 2022.
