Ecuador will receive Argentina with 100% capacity

The Ecuadorian team will be able to count on a full stadium in its next duel against Argentina, on Tuesday, March 29 at the home of Barcelona Sporting Club, in Guayaquilafter the national government ended this Friday the restrictions in the country due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ecuador is ready to “leap into the future, forward”, expressed this day the President of the Republic, Guillermo Lasso. He announced that all sporting events, including Ecuador’s game against Argentina, as well as restaurants, cinemas, shopping centers and other entertainment establishments, as well as workplaces, will have a 100% capacity.

The use of the mask and the biosafety protocols will be maintained as a precaution, but the lifting of these measures is being analyzed for the coming months, added the president.

This month, the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF) has already requested the national Emergency Operations Committee that the duel between the Tricolor and the Albiceleste have the maximum capacity in the Monumental Banco Pichincha.

According to the Professional Football League website, the capacity of the Barcelona stadium is 59,283 spectators.
