Director of Institutional Relations of Real Madrid admits the difficulty of Chelsea after being paired in the quarterfinals of the Champions League

The Director of Institutional Relations of the Real Madrid, Emilio Butraguenoadmitted the difficulty of Chelsea after being matched in Champions League quarterfinalsbut hoped to be able to “create a night similar” to that of PSG.

“We all know who Chelsea is, they won last year, we faced them (in the semi-finals), a physically very strong team, very solid, very cohesive, it will be a very difficult rival,” Butragueño told the platform Movistar+.

“The second game is at the Bernabéu, it can be an advantage as long as we get a good result in London, which has to be our first objective,” added the former Merengue striker, after the draw held in Switzerland.

Butragueño recalled the victory over Paris Saint-Germain in the round of 16 at the Bernabéu last week hoping to experience another equal tie.

“That night was a huge boost for Real Madrid and a feeling of pride, but our history also tells us that this should be a reference for future goals, therefore, what we have to do is try to create a similar night,” he considered.

“Those European nights are very special for us, but we are facing the best in Europe and I think in the world, and it is very difficult,” he added.
