Hafthor Bjornsson questioned Eddie Hall’s readiness for a boxing fight
Icelandic powerlifter Hafthor Bjornsson, best known for his role as Grigor Gora Clegane on Game of Thrones, has questioned Eddie Hall’s form. His words are reported by The Sun.
Bjornsson says Hall looks too big ahead of the March 19 boxing match. “Is it because he still eats cheesecake all the time? Or what is it? Is his diet that bad or is his training that bad? ironically remarked the 33-year-old Icelander. Bjornsson added that his physique shows how hard he works out.
Bjornsson concluded that the readiness of the opponent would not allow him to endure the entire fight. He expects to knock Hall out early in three or four rounds.
Bjornsson’s debut in boxing took place in January 2021. He had an exhibition match with boxer Stephen Ward. The fight ended in a draw.
In 2017, Hall received the title of the strongest man in the world. Until May 2020, he held the deadlift record. In 2016, he became the first person in the world to lift a 500-kilogram barbell. Hall’s record was broken by Bjornsson.
