Kutxabank Araski beat Lointek Gernika Bizkaia (85-62) this wednesday the basque derby corresponding to the 25th day of the Endesa Women’s League. The Vitoria-Gasteiz team was superior from start to finish.
After the first few minutes even (2-2 and 5-5), Lointek Gernika achieved a six-point lead (7-13), but the local team did not give up, shortened distances, and took the lead on the scoreboard (14 -13) with four minutes remaining in the first quarter. Later, the Alava team obtained a three-point lead (18-15), but the visitors were better in the last minute and a half, and finished the first ten minutes two points ahead (18-20).
