Guayaquil receives a visit to evaluate the planning of the 2025 Bolivarian Games | Other Sports | sports

Guayaquil will be examined this week by a delegation from the Bolivarian Sports Organization (Odebo) regarding its planning as the venue for the 2025 Bolivarian Games, the Ecuadorian Olympic Committee (COE) reported Tuesday.

The visit takes place at the invitation of the COE and will take place between March 17 and 18, when the authorities of the international organization will inspect the main sports venues where the tests are scheduled to take place.

The Odebo delegation, which will arrive in Ecuador on Wednesday, is made up of its president, Baltazar Medina; its treasurer, José Enrique Álvarez; and technical director Giorgio Alberti.

The hosts will be the president of the COE, Jorge Delgado Panchana; the Minister of Sports, Sebastián Palacios; Councilor Andrés Guschmer and the president of the Guayas Sports Federation, Roberto Ibáñez; as well as technical personnel from sports institutions and delegates from the Municipality of Guayaquil.

The tour will begin on Thursday with visits to the Alberto Spencer Model Stadium, the Voltaire Paladines Polo Coliseum, the climbing wall, the Orange Coliseum, the sand courts, table tennis, gymnastics coliseums, volleyball, skating and sports shooting complex.

They will then continue through the bowling alley, the Abel Jiménez Parra sports center, the Christian Benítez Betancourt football stadium, the Cuatro Mosqueteros complex, the Yeyo Úraga stadium and the Alberto Vallarino Olympic pool.

On Friday they will inspect the tennis courts of the Ecuadorian Federation in Urdesa and the Miraflores Complex, with the Honorato Haro Coliseum, the synthetic turf pitch, the skating rink, the velodrome, the BMX track and the fencing coliseum, for later go to the Pascuales Coliseum and the Country Club.
