Ancelotti reassures about possible Rodrygo injury: “Just one hit”

O Real Madrid beat Mallorca 3-0 and kept the gap in the lead of the Spanish Championship. Rodrygo, summoned by Tite to the Brazilian Team aiming for the next FIFA Date, he was a starter in the duel but, when he was substituted, he left the field with a limp.

In the press conference after the match, coach Carlo Ancelotti reassured about the Brazilian’s situation. The commander said it appeared to be a blow that left him “in a lot of pain”.

“We’ll have to assess the injuries in a few days. It doesn’t look like they’re serious, but we’ll have to assess them. It looks like Rodrygo only suffered a blow that left him in a lot of pain,” said the Italian coach.

Ancelotti also commented on the situation of Ferland Mendy, who was replaced, and Karim Benzema, scorer of two goals against Mallorca.

“Ferland (Mendy) has a muscle overload in his adductor and Karim (Benzema) didn’t feel very comfortable after jumping for a ball. We’ll have to wait and see on Wednesday whether or not they’ll be in shape for the match Sunday,” said Ancelotti.

Real Madrid returns to the field next Sunday, in the derby against Barcelona, valid for the 29th round of the Spanish Championship. The match is scheduled for 17 hours (Brasília), at Camp Nou.
