Russian woman Dina Averina needs to perform at her level to win the individual all-around at the Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championships in Japan. This condition was called by the Olympic medalist Yana Batyrshina, whose words are quoted by TASS.
The athlete emphasized that Averina is the only gymnast who did not make a single mistake in all her performances at this tournament. “If she performs in the same way as in the previous two days, she will receive her gold medal,” added Batyrshina.
Individual all-around competitions will be held on October 30. On October 29, Averina, as part of the Russian national team, won in the group all-around, she also won gold in exercises with a ball, hoop and clubs.
The Russian woman could not become the first only in the exercise with the ribbon. There the gold medal went to the representative of Belarus Alina Gornosko. In total, Averina has 17 world champion titles.
