Krasnodar beat Spartak Moscow 2:1 in the match of the 21st round of the Russian Premier League (RPL). This is reported by the correspondent of “Lenta.ru”.
Krasnodar opened the scoring already in the fifth minute of the confrontation. The Bulls’ Armenian midfielder Eduard Spertsyan scored an accurate free-kick. Spartak responded already nine minutes later, but Shamar Nicholson’s goal was canceled after the chief referee used the Video Assistance System (VAR). Only in the 38th minute, the Dutch midfielder of the red and white Quincy Promes converted a penalty and equalized the score.
At the 59th minute, the referee canceled the red-and-white goal again. Nicholson broke the rules again. In the 86th minute, Krasnodar took the lead again. Spertsyan converted the penalty and scored a brace.
Earlier, on March 13, as part of the 21st round of the RPL, Zenit failed to achieve a victory over the Samara Wings of the Soviets. The backlog of Dynamo from the leader of the championship was reduced to three points.
