Napoli visited Verona this Sunday, for the 29th round of the Serie A, and took the second place in the tournament after winning 2-1. With two goals from Victor Osimhen, the team now has 60 points, three behind Milan, first placed.
In the next round, Napoli welcomes Udinese next Saturday, at 11 am (GMT). Verona, in turn, enter the field a day later, on Sunday. The team visits Empoli at the same time.
The game – At 14 minutes of the first half. Matteo Politano made a beautiful cross inside the area and Victor Osimhen managed to take advantage of it. The striker headed in the right side of the goalkeeper and swung the net.
The second goal came in the last 45 minutes. Giovanni Di Lorenzo handed it to Osimhen, who braced for the empty goal to score for the second time in the duel.
In the end, Davide Faraoni discounted for Verona, but the team didn’t have enough strength to seek the tie.
