Russian biathlete Slivko spoke about the negative in Europe because of Russian symbols
Russian biathlete Victoria Slivko said that she felt uncomfortable in equipment with the symbols of the country in Europe in late February and early March. It is reported by “Match TV”.
According to the athlete, she tried to dress neutrally, as otherwise she faced negativity. “We also moved from city to city in cars with Russian symbols. We were signaled, there was such an incomprehensible attitude, ”Slivko said.

The Russians planned to take part in the IBU Cup in Switzerland, which took place from 3 to 6 March. At the end of February, the organization announced that it would allow athletes from Russia to start only in a neutral status. After such changes, the Russian Biathlon Union (RBU) announced that the athletes were finishing the season ahead of schedule.
On March 2, the IBU announced a ban on Russians from participating in international competitions. The same sanctions affected biathletes from Belarus.
