In order to get the injured out of the vehicle, firefighters had to use hydraulic tools. A woman and two children – eight and one-year-old – suffered in the event. One of them was to be revived.
– The bus transporting the Miedzi players to the away game in Jastrzębie-Zdrój was damaged in an accident on the A4 motorway. Nobody on the team was hurt. Unfortunately, people driving a passenger car that hit the coach were injured. The injured were taken by LPR helicopters, informed Paweł Sasiela, press spokesman for Miedzi Legnica.
A woman with serious injuries was taken to the Upper Silesian Medical Center in Katowice-Ochojec. The children were transported to the Upper Silesian Child Health Center, also in the capital of the Silesian Voivodeship. Local media reported the fatal accident, but a spokesman for Miedziowe did not confirm.
At the scene of the accident, policemen conducted their activities. It is already known that it is the officers under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office who will try to explain how this tragic event happened.
