FC Rubin announced the suspension of contracts with Anders Dreyer and Sead Khaksabanovic
Kazan football club “Rubin” announced the suspension of contracts with two foreign players. This was reported on the team’s website.
The team has temporarily terminated agreements with 23-year-old Dane Anders Dreyer and 22-year-old Montenegrin Sead Haksabanovic until the summer of 2022. The contracts of the players who joined the Russian club in 2021 are for five years.
Dreyer played 14 matches for Kazan and scored eight goals. Hakshabanovich played in 23 games, in which he scored one goal and four assists.
On March 7, the International Football Federation (FIFA) allowed the legionnaires of the Russian Premier League (RPL) to suspend contracts unilaterally. Foreign players can sign agreements with foreign clubs until 30 June. After the expiration of the new contracts, the legionnaires will have to return to their previous teams.
