There are no more tickets for the March final of the play-offs for the World Cup in Qatar at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów! – Almost all tickets sold out at night, right after the official sale began. Literally a few pieces lasted until the morning – says Jakub Kwiatkowski, a press spokesman. This means that on March 29, 54,000 fans will appear in the stands of the Silesian Stadium.
– The interest in the play-off finals was and still is gigantic. Probably, if we had a stadium for 100,000, we would sell all tickets anyway – adds Kwiatkowski. Is there any chance of getting tickets? – If someone does not pay for the order, or one of the sponsors does not use the entire pool, some tickets may appear in the system, but I would like to point out that it will not be a large number – explains the press spokesman of the Polish Football Association.
And how much were the tickets for the March match of Czesław Michniewicz’s team?
- Category I – PLN 240
- Category II – PLN 180
- Category III – PLN 120
- Family ticket (guardian and child under 12) – PLN 100 + 60
- Disabled person (in a wheelchair with a guardian) – PLN 90
- Easy Access (people with significant disabilities with a guardian) – PLN 90
Scotland instead of the semi-finals?
Let us recall that Poland was first to play in the play-offs for the World Cup in Qatar in the semi-final match against the Russian national team in Moscow. But due to the brutal attack of the Russians on Ukraine, PZPN and the footballers made a joint decision to boycott the match. This move meant that FIFA finally excluded the Russians and awarded the Polish team a promotion to the final of the play-offs. In it, Czesław Michniewicz’s team will play at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzów with the winner of the Sweden – Czech Republic match. Instead of meeting Russia, the Polish national team plans to play a friendly match,.
