Defender Andreas Christensen is packed for Spain. The Dane, who already has a verbal agreement with Barcelona, will leave Chelsea next season.
According to information from the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Christensen’s contract with the Catalan club will last for five years.
The 25-year-old currently has a contract with Chelsea until June this year, when the European football season ends. After the contract expires, he will sign with Barça, free of charge.
The defender arrived at the English club in the youth categories, but went up to professional in 2015 and was loaned to Borussia Mönchengladbach.
In 2017, after returning from loan, he began to have opportunities with the Blues shirt. In all, Christensen has played 154 games for Chelsea and won important titles, such as the Champions League and Club World Cup.
