Districts with the highest demand for new buildings have been named in Moscow. 75% of transactions made from January 2021 to February 2022 were in five administrative districts of the capital, according to the materials of the real estate agency Azbuka Zhiliy provided to RBC-Nedvizhimost.
Realtors reported that 21% of transactions were recorded in the southeast, 15% – in the west of the capital, 12% – in the north. The share of the North-Western Administrative District was 13%, the Southern – 12%. Specialists associate such volumes of sales with a large number of proposals in these districts.
Experts noted that most transactions with apartments were made in the north of the capital. 52% of all sales of this type of real estate in buildings under construction accounted for North-West Administrative District, North-East Administrative District and North-East Administrative Okrug, SAOYU, the report says.
The ABC of Housing notes that the southeast is the leader in the mass segment (26% of the total sales) and in sales of new buildings at the excavation stage (24 percent). This is due to the rapid development of new projects in former industrial areas.
At the same time, realtors predict that this year the demand for new buildings will shift to other districts. According to them, this will happen after the sale of new residential complexes.
