O Arsenal wants Serge Gnabry back and is willing to pay 75 million euros (about R$ 415 million) for this, according to the British newspaper “The Sun”. The 26-year-old German played in the club’s youth categories and even made his professional debut in 2012, but lost ground and moved to Germany.
Initially, he played for a season at Werden Bremen, who acquired his rights for 5 million euros (R$ 27.6 million at the current price) from Arsenal. After a great season scoring 11 goals in 27 matches, he was sold to Bayern Munchen, club where he is until today. For the Bavarian club, there are already 160 games, 60 goals, 39 assists and 11 titles.
Even at the height of his career, Gnabry’s contract expires in June 2023 and after six seasons at Bayern, a move to English Premier League is not ruled out.
Furthermore, the German player has never hidden his affection for Arsenal. Recently, he even posted a photo with a retro club shirt.
In 2019, in an interview with “Pro:Direct Soccer”, the athlete spoke about the Gunners. “As I said, it was the hardest decision to leave Arsenal, but in the end I think it worked out well. But as a club Arsenal are the best,” said Gnabry, leaving open the chance of a comeback.
