French midfielder Remy Cabella left Krasnodar
Former French midfielder Remy Cabella left the Russian “Krasnodar”. This was reported on the website of the club of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
The agreement with the 32-year-old midfielder was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties. This season, RPL Cabella has played 16 matches, scoring four goals and ten assists.
On March 7, the International Football Federation (FIFA) allowed RPL legionnaires to unilaterally suspend contracts with clubs. Foreign players have the right to sign agreements with foreign teams until June 30th.
On March 2, German coach Daniel Fark and his assistants left Krasnodar. Aleksey Antonyuk was appointed acting head coach.
On February 28, FIFA and the Union of European Football Associations excluded Russian clubs and teams from international tournaments. The Russian Football Union (RFU) announced its intention to challenge the decision in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
