Bayern Munich and Liverpool reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League

Bayern Munich and Liverpool qualified for the Champions League quarterfinals this Tuesday March 8 after eliminate Salzburg and Inter Milan respectively in the round of 16.

Bayern had no mercy with Salzburg at the Allianz (Germany), since the German team thrashed their rival and won 7-1. The first leg ended tied (1-1) and Bayern suffered. However, in the return leg the Munich team passed over the rival. Lewandowski scored a hat-trick in 23 minutes. The Polish striker scored three goals, the first two from penalties. Before the break, Gnabry made it 4-0 on the marker. On reboot, Müller scored the fifth for Bayern (5-0). The Salzburg had the honor of scoring through Kjaergaard (5-1) in the 70th minute. Already in the final stretch, Müller wet again (6-1) and Sané rounded off the Bavarian party by transforming the final 7-1.

At Anfield (England), Liverpool lost against Inter 0-1but the victory harvested in the first leg (0-2) gave the English the ticket for the quarterfinals.
