Expelled against Marseille, Hakimi is suspended and will embezzle PSG for two games

O Paris Saint Germain announced on Thursday that right-back Achraf Hakimi was suspended for two matches of the French Championship.

“The Professional Football League’s disciplinary committee has applied a one-game suspension to Paris Saint-Germain defender Achraf Hakimi, plus a suspension for another game,” the team reported in Twitter.

The Moroccan athlete was expelled last Sunday at the goalless draw before the Marseille Olympics. He took down Cengiz Under, at the entrance to the area, in the 12th minute of the second half, and received a direct red card.

This way, Hakimi will be left out of the next PSG duel. The team led by Mauricio Pochettino, leader of Ligue 1, will host Lille, on Friday, at 4 pm (GMT), for the 12th round. The defender will also not act in the match against the Bordeaux, not Saturday (06/11).
