This Thursday, the Police arrested a foreign couple who, on board a motorcycle, assaulted a woman with a knife. The arrest took place at the Jardines de Esperanza cemetery, in the north of Guayaquil.
Citizens Joidy Agustín EA, 21, and María Luisa HR, 29, had intercepted citizen Nathaly Gabriela MN at the Pájaro Azul cooperative and under threats stole her wallet containing personal documents and a cell phone.
Police who participated in the arrests of the foreigners indicated that when they arrived to the aid they saw that the victim was being helped by several residents.
After that, several units were activated and minutes later they located the foreigners as they circulated through the Jardines de Esperanza cemetery.
In the possession of the offenders, who were taken to the Flagrancia Unit of the Model Barracks, the wallet they had stolen, the knife (knife) and the motorcycle were found.
