Russian Football Federation appeals against FIFA and Uefa sanctions

The Russian Football Federation (RFS) has filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) on Tuesday against the sanctions of its teams and national teams from all international competitions, which was announced last week by FIFA and Uefa.

While CAS does not make a decision on the case, RFS has asked that Russia be allowed to take the field for the play-off of the Playoffs for the 2022 World Cupon March 24, against Poland.
