In the next round, Tottenham visit Manchester United, on Saturday, at 2:30 pm (Brasília time). Everton, in turn, receive Wolverhampton, on Sunday, at 11 am (GMT).
The game – In the first half, the hosts opened the scoring in the 14th minute, in an own goal by Michael Keane after a cross in the area. At 17, Heung-Min Son came face to face with the goalkeeper and widened.
At 37, it was Harry Kane’s turn to hit the net. The forward advanced with the dominated ball into the area and overcame Jordan Pickford.
In the second stage, in the first minute, Dejan Kulusevski found Sergio Reguilon, who kicked in the left corner to make Tottenham’s fourth. At 10, Kane closed the scoring with a great kick.
In the final minutes, with the rout already built, Tottenham managed the match, without taking any risks. The team had a chance to amplify, in a header by Davinson Sánchez after a set-piece play.
