One of the main names in the European football transfer market, Erling Haaland has been speculated and scouted by big clubs in the world.
Despite several suitors, two are considered favorites. According to the German newspaper Bild, Real Madrid and Manchester City are the most likely to take Haaland away from Borussia Dortmund, due to financial conditions.
The 21-year-old striker has a contract with the German club until 2026, but Borussia know how difficult it is to keep him until the end of the contract.
This week, Haaland’s name was linked to Barcelona after former player and current team coach Xavi Hernández admitted he had met the striker in Munich and presented him with the Barça project.
So far, the striker continues to defend Borussia Dortmund, who face Arminia, next Sunday, in the German Championship. In second place with 50 points, the team from the city of Dortmund follows on the heels of leader Bayern, who has 59.
