Rashford, Dybala, Wijnaldum… Atletico Madrid are eyeing the market for reinforcements

Looking to strengthen its squad for next season, Atletico Madrid is eyeing the transfer market to find new pieces.

According to the newspaper Mundo Deportivo, from Spain, the club has Marcus Rashford, from Manchester United, and Paulo Dybala, from Juventus, as targets of the moment.

According to the tabloid, Diego Simeone wants a striker to partner with Luis Suárez. Before Dybala and Rashford, Lautaro Martínez, Darwin Núñez and Gerard Moreno were already named as names on the Madrid club’s wish list.

Under contract until 2023, Rashford appears to be dissatisfied with his situation at Manchester United, and could be a more viable name for Atletico to try.

On the other hand, the possible signing of Argentine Dybala could have an obstacle. Despite the athlete’s contract with Juventus ending in June this year, the two parties would have already started negotiations to renew, according to the Italian press.

In addition to a striker, Atletico Madrid also aim for reinforcements for other positions. According to Mundo Deportivo, Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum, ex-Liverpool, would be dissatisfied at Paris Saint-Germain and is also in Atletico’s sights. The player has a contract with the French until 2024.
