Thanks to the win, Wisła moved up to the 7th place in the table. The team that played the first game after coach Maciej Bartoszek was dismissed has 33 points. Górnik Łęczna remained in the 15th position with 24 points. Kamil Kieres’ team has only a point advantage over Wisła Kraków located in the relegation zone and two points more than Legia Warszawa and Bruk-Bet Termaliki Nieciecza. The team from Warsaw, however, played two games less, and Bruk-Bet has one game overdue.

On Friday Górnik will take up Legia, and on Sunday Wisła will play away from Jagiellonian Bialystok.
