Polish jumpers cannot count as successful Saturday’s World Cup competition in Oslo. In the next installment of the Raw Air series, the best of our representatives was the one who took only 11th place.

Saturday was not a bad day for Polish ski jumping. In addition to the World Cup, there was also a Continental Cup competition in Lahti, where our representatives did very well. As many as two of them were on the podium. he was second and Maciej Kot was third. The Austrian Thomas Lackner, who was beyond the reach of his rivals, triumphed.

Both Poles jumped to the podium thanks to great jumps in the second round. Destroyer in the first attempt reached 123.5 meters, but in the second he managed to jump three meters further. He made even greater progress and improved his result in the first round (121 m) by four meters. Lackner was second to none and made the longest jump in both rounds. First 129.5 meters, then 127 meters. Ultimately, he overtook the second Destroyer by as much as 22.3 points.

On Saturday they also recorded a good result – which was fifth and Stefan Hula, who finished the competition in 10th position. However, the other two Poles, who did not even advance to the second series, presented themselves very poorly. Klemens Murańka was only 32 (112.5 m), and Jarosław Krzak 37 (104.5 m).

The Norwegian Joacim Oedegaard Bjoereng leads the general classification with 878 points. The best of the Polish team is Kacper Juroszek, who is 15th (328 points), who is currently with the A-team in Oslo.
