Two Russian riders will compete with licenses from other countries

Russian racers Daniil Kvyat and Roman Rusinov will compete in the new season with racing licenses from other countries. It is reported by RIA Novosti.

According to the source, Kvyat will receive an Italian racing license. Rusinov will perform with an Italian or French license.

Earlier, the American team Haas terminated the contract with the Russian Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin. The agreement with the title sponsor, Uralkali, was also terminated.

On March 4, the International Motorsport Federation (FIA) said that in order to participate in competitions under the auspices of the organization, Russians and Belarusians need to sign an agreement that prohibits them from displaying national symbols, colors and flags in public and on social networks. The ban also extends to the performance of national anthems. Pilots will compete in neutral status.
