The American team Haas terminated the contract with the Russian Formula 1 driver Nikita Mazepin. This is reported in Twitter.
Instead of Mazepin, the American reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi may be invited to the team. Haas also terminated the agreement with the title sponsor, the Russian company Uralkali. Previously, the team removed the white, blue and red colors that formed the Russian tricolor from their fireballs.
Last season, the 22-year-old racer made his debut in Formula 1. He failed to score any points and finished in last place in the individual standings. The best result of the Russian was the 14th place at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.
