The ruthless attacks by Russian troops on Ukraine have been going on for over a week. One of those who saw these tragic events with his own eyes was Vyacheslav Kalinichenko. Shortly before the outbreak of the war, the coach left for Kiev for the competition. However, he was not there for too long, because fearing for his and his relatives’ safety, he had to flee to Poland.
Kalinitshenko has a way to get rid of Putin
Although Kaliniczenko has been associated with Poland for many years, the situation affects him very much. In his opinion, the only way to end the war in his homeland is to get rid of it. Interestingly, he even proposed a specific solution that could lead to this.
– Just a bullet at him, I guess. It’s the only way to end the war, nothing else. He has become so aggressive that he reacts ad libitum. He has an appetite for blood, for war, he wants to show that he is the ruler of everything – said the Ukrainian coach in an interview for “Super Express”.
Kalinitshenko demands protests in Russia
The 48-year-old also appealed to Russian sports stars, but not only. In his opinion, mass protests in the streets of Russia would help. For several days, they have been organized in many cities, and the police have arrested several thousand people during them. Kaliniczenko claims that it is still not enough.
– There should come out such famous athletes as Isinbayeva, Valuyev, Shubenko and other famous faces – actors, painters. After all, Isinbayeva will not be taken by the face and will not shut up, because he has good relations with Putin and they often talk about sports, he said.
Kalinichenko also added that he is deeply affected by the fact that many citizens have no idea what is happening in Ukraine. Russian propaganda is for everything, which effectively cuts the inhabitants off from reliable information. There is a narrative according to which Russian troops have launched an invasion in order to free their neighbor from the hands of the fascists.
