Uzbek gymnast Oksana Chusovitina won the World Cup in Doha. It is reported by “Match TV”.

46-year-old Chusovitina, who still played for the USSR national team, became the best in the vault. She scored 13.433 points. Chusovitina has been performing at the professional level since 1990. On July 25, 2021, after competing at the Olympic Games in Tokyo, where the gymnast took 11th place in the vault qualification and did not reach the final, she announced her retirement. However, on October 1, Chusovitina decided to return to performances and prepare for the 2022 Asian Games.

Chusovitina went down in history as the only gymnast who took part in eight Olympic Games (1992, 1996, 2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2020). At the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, ​​the athlete as part of the Unified Team won the gold medal in the team competition. At the 2008 Games in Beijing, Chusovitina, representing Germany, became the silver medalist in the vault.

Chusovitina is a three-time world champion. She also became the winner of the European Championship and twice took gold at the Asian Games.
