A dramatic account of Kliczka from Kiev. “It’s not human”

The eighth day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine has passed. Vladimir Putin’s troops are killing more and more civilians and destroying more and more residential buildings. It is estimated that over two thousand Ukrainians have already died. The Russian army has taken control of Kherson and is attacking Kyiv. The capital of Ukraine is fighting bravely. His brother Vladimir also took up arms – also one of the best boxers in history. The younger of the Kliczko brothers, he found time to give an interview to Sky Sports.

– I did not think that I would experience a war one day. You look around and suddenly you see and hear explosions, rockets, destroyed vehicles and buildings. Coming to our home and killing our men, women and children is not human behavior. We still need supplies, food and medicine. We need every form of support, including financial support, because in this case we are alone, but at the same time we are all together in a sense. The democratic Western world is with us. But if this war does not stop in Ukraine, it will spread to more countries. Stopping Russian aggression is crucial. We don’t have time to hesitate, we have to do it quickly – said Kliczko.

Klitschko: Russian athletes represent the regime

According to the latest information, the European Union will provide Ukraine with over one billion euros in aid, and 600 million is expected to come in March. In turn, the United States is to donate $ 10 billion to humanitarian and military aid.

The world of sport, which excludes Russians from an increasing number of events and tournaments, is also struggling with Russian aggression in its own way.

– I am proud of the unity of the world. I can see the work of the IOC, UEFA, FIFA, Formula 1, boxing federations and other organizations together and feel proud. I have nothing against Russian athletes, but they represent the regime, so they are necessarily related to this war. It is important to show the world that this war is not right – added Kliczko.

Vladimir Klitschko is a former world heavyweight champion. He had the IBF, WBO, IBO federation belts and was a WBA super champion. He fought 69 fights, of which he won 65. In turn, Vitaly ruled in the WBO and WBC federations.
