Juventus lost to Sassuolo and was thirteen points behind the leader in Seria A

The Turin team lost 2-1 at home and remains in the sixth box, with 15 points.

Sassuolo defeated a gray Juventus, lacking ideas and rhythm, 2-1 on Wednesday at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, leaving Massimiliano Allegri’s men thirteen points behind leaders Milan.

A goal from Frenchman Maxime Lopez on the counterattack in the 95th minute, when Juventus was focused on the attack in search of victory, gave Sassuolo the first victory in their history on the Juventus pitch.

After the 1-1 draw saved in the 89th minute at San Siro against Inter, Juventus paid for their lack of offensive rhythm and the fantasy of an Argentine Paulo Dybala was not enough for him, who offered the assistance for the momentary 1-1, scored headlong for the american Weston McKennie in the 75th minute, after the advantage of Davide Frattesi in the last minute of the first half.

On a bad day for the Spanish Álvaro Morata, Dybala shook the wood with a powerful left foot from outside the area with the 0-0 in the bright, but the only dangers of Juventus originated in individual plays and not a team, like those of a Sassuolo who stood out for his good combinations.

Allegri tried to strengthen the lead of his team with the Brazilian Kaio Jorge and the Colombian Juan Guillermo Cuadrado, but his team repeatedly made errors in the kick-off phase and his tie came in a set-piece action, with a cross from Dybala headed by McKennie.

The Turin team turned to attack in the last minutes, but it did so with little organization and, in one of the many lost balls in the three-quarter zone, Sassuolo punished them with the winning goal.

He was thirteen points behind the leader Milan and Juventus will have Juventus and with a long way to go to change the dynamics of a season well below the expectations of their environment. (D)
