Liverpool return to the field next Saturday, at 14:30 (GMT), when they host West Ham for the English Premier League. Norwich, in turn, plays at home against Brentford, on the same day, at 12:00 (BrasÃlia time).
The game – In the first half, the hosts opened the scoring in the 27th minute. Divock Origi found Takumi Minamino inside the area and the Japanese completed it to the back of the goal.
At 39, Minamino extended it to Liverpool. The striker took a rebound inside the area and overcame Norwich’s Dutch goalkeeper Tim Krul.
In the second half, the hosts almost reached the third goal after six minutes. Alex-Oxlade Chamberlain received a throw from Jordan Henderson and kicked the crossbar from the edge of the area.
At 31, Norwich declined. Joshua Sargent activated, at the entrance of the area, Lukas Rupp, who hit Alisson’s right corner and overcame the Brazilian goalkeeper.
