Real Sociedad qualified for the quarterfinals of the Copa de la Reina this Wednesday, March 2, after beat Villarreal 1-2 in castellón the match of the round of 16.
It didn’t take long for the txuri-urdin team to get ahead on the scoreboard, since in minute 3 the referee awarded Real Sociedad a penalty for Olivia’s hand inside the area. Nerea Eizagirre did not forgive from eleven meters and put the 0-1 on the scoreboard.

Four minutes after the home team’s goal, the Castellón team was able to tie, but goalkeeper Elene stopped Pinel’s shot. Real Sociedad managed their advantage well in the final stretch and took the victory.
