After the British government sanctions, the owner of the Chelsea, Roman Abramovich, faces problems because of his alleged involvement with Putin and the Russian government. In this way, he would have offered the club to a Swiss billionaire.
Hansjorg Wyss, 86 years old, is the one who claims to have been offered the Blues. In an interview with the Swiss newspaper “Blick”, he said that three more people had received the same offer to buy the English team.
“Abramovich is one of Putin’s closest advisors and friends. Like all the other oligarchs, he too is panicking. Abramovich is trying to sell all his villas in England. He also wants to get rid of Chelsea quickly. I and three other people received an offer on Tuesday to buy Chelsea from Abramovich.”

It is estimated that the Russian has invested around 1.5 billion pounds (approximately R$10.35 billion) and that the minimum price being asked is higher. For this reason, negotiations, if made official, should take a few days to define.
“I have to wait four to five days now. Abramovich is currently asking too much. You know, Chelsea owes him 2 billion pounds. But Chelsea don’t have the money. That means whoever buys Chelsea must compensate Abramovich.”
“To this day, we don’t know the exact sale price. I can imagine starting at Chelsea with partners. But I have to look at the general conditions first. But what can I say already: I’m definitely not doing something like this on my own. If I buy Chelsea , then it would be with a consortium composed of six to seven investors”.
Abramovich’s representatives have not commented on the matter, as well as Chelsea.
