The game – Barcelona, ​​under Ronald Koeman, dominated possession in the first half but created few chances. The home team, coached by Andoni Iraola, waited for a counterattack and opened the scoring after 30 minutes, with Falcao. The 35-year-old Colombian received a deep pass, went straight to the goal, cleared the defender and submitted it to the back of the net.

The complementary stage was also not positive for the visitors. Barça again kept the ball more, but continued to build few clear scoring opportunities.
