Olympique de Marseille drew against Troyes, away from home, this Sunday, for the French Championship. Payet opened the scoring for Marseille, but Touzghar equalized in the 45th minute of the second half for the home team.
Even with the tie, Olympique remains in second place, now with 47 points. Troyes, on the other hand, has 22 points and is in the 17th position of the championship, surpassing Metz, Saint-Étienne and Bordeaux, with the same score, by the tie-breaking criteria.
In a busy first half, Olympique opened the scoring in the 28th minute. Guendouzi was fouled in the area and Payet took a penalty from the left corner.
Troyes, however, managed to equalize in the 45th minute of the second half, with Touzghar. After a low cross from the left end, the attacker deflected his right leg to the back of the goal.
In the next round of the French Championship, Olympique faces Monaco, at home, on Sunday, at 16:45 (GMT). Troyes visits Bordeaux on the same day at 11 am.
