Napoli beats Lazio with a late goal and takes the lead

This Sunday, Lazio and Napoli faced each other for the 27th round of the Italian Championship. In Rome, Luciano Spalletti’s team got the victory in the final moments, with a goal from Fabian Ruiz. Insigne also scored for the visitors, while Pedro scored for Maurizio Sarri’s men.

With the result, the Neapolitans take the lead in the tournament, with 57 points, the same score as Milan, but better goal difference. The team from the capital of Italy occupies the seventh place, with 43.

In the next round, Lazio will visit Cagliari, on Saturday (03/05), at 16:45 (Brasília time). Napoli, in turn, receive Milan, on Sunday (06/03), also at 16:45 (GMT).

The game – In the initial stage, in the first 10 minutes, the hosts managed to create good goal situations. Luis Alberto and Immobile had good opportunities inside the area, but they shot wide.

At 41, Lazio once again arrived in danger. Milinkovic-Savic overcame the defender inside the area, hit placed, but stopped in a great defense by Ospina.

In the second half, Napoli opened the scoring. The ball reached Lorenzo Insigne at the edge of the area, who hit placed to put the southern Italian team in front.

However, in the 44th minute, Pedro, ex-Barcelona and Chelsea, got a great shot from outside the area to tie the duel. But, at 49, Fabian Ruiz gave the victory to the Neapolitans.
